The de-facto Abkhazian government decided the question of citizenship for Georgians living in Gali region. This people will get new status - status of a temporary stay in the so-called Republic. Such documents of temporary residence will be available also for foreign people too and those who are not citizens of de-facto Abkhazia, stateless persons.
"This document allows people to live in Abkhazia for forever and cross the border freely."
At the same time de-facto Interior Minister declares: "This is not the Passport of Abkhazian citizen. This regulation will decide the question of citizenship and stateless persons."
